GORDY QUILLEN
Gordy represents everything Podium Paints stands for: dedication, precision, and a relentless drive to compete at the highest level. His work ethic on the water and commitment to performance make him a natural fit for the brand. When we were looking for someone to represent Podium Paints, we weren't just looking for a good angler. We were looking for someone who fishes with the same intensity we paint with. Gordy was an easy call.
In just four years of kayak fishing, Gordy has put together a resume that most anglers spend a lifetime chasing. He burst onto the scene in 2022, earning both Rookie of the Year and Angler of the Year honors with First State Kayak Anglers in the same season. That kind of debut doesn't happen by accident.
Since then Gordy has gone on to claim back to back River Runnerz Angler of the Year titles in 2024 and 2025, a 2025 USA Bassin Big Bass USA/Jackson win, and the Kayak Maryland Eastern Shore Trail Division Championship. The kind of angler who doesn't just show up to compete, he shows up to win.
That's the Podium Paints standard.
shane short
Shane is the definition of consistency on the water—no shortcuts, just years of experience, instinct, and putting in the time where it counts. Whether it’s a local tournament or a high-pressure event, he shows up prepared and ready to execute.
With over 20 first-place finishes and 300+ fish verified, Shane has built a resume that speaks for itself. But it’s not just the numbers—it’s how he gets there. He fishes smart, adapts quickly, and trusts his process. Every cast has intention, and every decision is backed by time spent learning the water.
Shane isn’t chasing moments—he’s building them through repetition, discipline, and a deep understanding of the game. He’s the kind of angler who doesn’t just compete, he sets the standard.
gunner short
Gunner is the kind of angler who earns it—no shortcuts, no fluff, just time on the water and a constant drive to get better. From early mornings on local docks to long days working lakes and rivers, he’s built his reputation through consistency and discipline.
With 8 first-place finishes and 3 Angler of the Year titles, Gunner has proven he knows how to compete—but what sets him apart is how he got there. Every cast, every adjustment, every missed bite has been part of the process. He’s the guy who stays out a little longer, studies the conditions a little harder, and never settles.
Gunner fishes with purpose, trusts his instincts, and shows up ready every time. For him, it’s simple: put in the work, and let the results speak.
